Fatal Crash on KY 1649 in Casey County, KY
Date of News Release: 05/27/2006
Columbia, KY - Ryan Smith, age 23 of Somerset was southbound on KY 1649. Mr. Smith attempted to pass another vehicle on double yellow line and striking Patricia D. Patterson's vehicle head on.
Patricia D. Patterson, age 37 of Liberty, KY was pronounced dead at the scene by the Casey County Coroner. Ryan L. Smith was airlifted to University of Kentucky Medical Center.
