KSP is Investigating an Escape from Marion Adjustment Center in Marion County

(Columbia, KY) - The Kentucky State Police is investigating an escape from Marion Adjustment Center in Marion County.

At approximately 09:20 a.m. on 3/15/05, guards discovered that Frederick H. Purcell Jr. was missing from the facility. Purcell is a thirty-three year-old white male. He is 5-10", 155 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. He may be walking with a limp from a recent injury, and had been using crutches prior to his escape. He is believed to be wearing a gray sweat suit, but may have changed clothing. Purcell has numerous tattoos, and is known to use many variations of his name as aliases.

Purcell is a native of Kenton County in Northern Kentucky, and was serving a sentence for drug related crimes.
