Three Juveniles After A 20-Minute Vehicle Pursuit

(Ashland, KY) - The Kentucky State Police in Ashland, KY charge (3) Juveniles after a 20-minute vehicle pursuit.

Tpr. Erik Kouns attempted to stop a 1995 Ford Areostar Van on Rupert Lane in Grayson, KY after the Driver failed to stop at a stop sign. The Driver of the vehicle refused to stop and a pursuit began. The pursuit, which began in Grayson, continued onto Interstate 64 west bound to the 161 Olive Hill exit at very high speeds.The Driver changed places with a passenger while the vehicle was in motion. The new Driver turned onto KY 182 then wrecked attempting to turn onto Corey Road. Two of the Juveniles were taken into custody after the accident. However, the third juvenile managed to escape on foot. No one was injured and alcohol was not a factor. The investigation continues by Tpr. Erik Kouns.
