Pizza Parlor Rewarding Toy Donors with Free Game Play

Date of News Release: 12/21/2006

(Frankfort, KY) - Mr. Gatti's working with Kentucky State Police Professional Association District 12 to distribute toys.

Two Mr. Gatti's Family Fun Centers in Louisville accepted donations of new, unwrapped toys in original packaging as part of their Kids-4-Kids Toy Drive that ended Dec. 19. In return for the gifts, donors received 10 free Mr. Gatti's game tokens valued at $2.50.

The participating Mr. Gatti's are located at 1108 Lyndon Lane and 4200 Outer Loop. Mike Daleo, Mr. Gatti's district manager, said the toy drive is all about "kids helping kids."

"We are promoting the holiday spirit by asking our young customers to think about those less fortunate during the holidays," said Daleo. "We suggest that parents and mentors of area kids encourage the kids themselves to select a toy and purchase it to give to a needy child to help them experience the joy of giving."

The two Mr. Gatti's restaurants turned several boxes of toys and a $450.00 check over to Tpr. Ronald Turley Post 12 Frankfort on Dec. 20. The toys will be distributed to local children in need by members of the Kentucky State Police Professional Association. For more information you can contact Sharon Keathley @ 502-227-2221 or Tpr. Ronald Turley.
