Shooting Investigation in Anderson County

(Frankfort, KY ) - On Dec. 13, 2006 at 9:30 p.m. Kentucky State Police received a call that a female had shown up at the Bluegrass Community Hospital and she had been shot in the back of the head. The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. this same night at her residence. After state police investigated the complaint it has been found that her juvenile stepson, was handling a handgun when it discharged and fired one bullet into the back of the woman's head. Because of the angle and caliber of the bullet the victim was treated and released. This investigation is still on going.
