Pursuit and Arrest on I-64 in Shelby County

(Frankfort, KY ) - Trooper Hunter Martin was on a traffic stop on I-64 westbound at the 26 mm when a vehicle failed to yield the right of way. Trooper Martin caught up to the vehicle attempting to stop it, but it continued westbound on I-64 entering Jefferson County. The vehicle exited I-64 at exit 15 (Hurtsborne Lane) Trooper Martin with the assistance of Trooper Dixon blocked the vehicle in at the top of the ramp. Millicent D Hawkins was taken into custody without incident. Millicent D Hawkins was charged with Failure to Give Right of Way to Stopped Emergency Vehicle, Fleeing or Evading 2nd (motor vehicle), Failure to Give Right of Way to an Emergency Vehicle.
