Double Fatal Crash on KY 55 in Shelby County
Date of News Release: 10/18/2006
(Frankfort, KY) - Christine Shields was traveling northbound in the southbound lane of KY 55, Melissa Bruner was traveling southbound. Ms. Shields' vehicle stuck Ms. Bruner's vehicle head on. Ms. Shields died on impact and Ms. Burner died approximately an hour later at Jewish Hospital of Shelbyville.
