Anderson County Death Investigation

(FRANKFORT, Ky.) - On July 2, 2006 at 1515 hrs. Kentucky State Police was notified that Robert Gil Parrish IV had left a vehicle he was driving at Milner Road and he was possibly suicidal. Versailles Police Department located the vehicle and a search was conducted in an attempt to locate Parrish. Kentucky State Police brought in a K-9 unit and Parrish was tracked from the vehicle he had been driving to a railroad bridge, which runs over the Kentucky River. Anderson County Search and Rescue were requested and they located Parrish at 2028 hrs. in the river. Anderson County Deputy Coroner David Walden pronounced Parrish dead at the scene at 2100 hrs. This investigation is on going.
