A Nicholasville Man Arrested on Burglary 1st, Burglary 2nd, Theft by Unlawful Taking O/$300 Charges

(Post 12 Frankfort) On Jan. 26, 2006, Kenny Barnett's home was broken into and several items were taken. A few weeks later, Barnett's wife, Lindsey, located some of her stolen rings in a pawnshop in Lexington KY.
A multi-agency investigation by the Kentucky State Police, Anderson County and Jessamine County Sheriff's Departments lead to the arrest of Monty Vanblaricum who has been charged with the Barnett's burglary as well as a burglary at Bobby Spencer's; who is also a residence of Lawrenceburg, KY. Vanblaricum has also been charged with possession of marijuana, receiving stolen property over $300 and theft by unlawful taking over $300 (two counts).
This investigation has resulted in the recovery of several thousand dollars of stolen jewelry, a computer, and some other items. There will be more charges filled against Vanblaricum as the investigation is on going. Vanblaricum is a suspect in several other burglaries in Anderson and Mercer Counties. Vanblaricum has sold some of the stolen guns and other items at the flea markets in Georgetown and Versailles.
