Spencer County High School Threats Investigation

(Post 12 Frankfort) Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort is investigating a possible threat of violence made by a student or students at Spencer County High School. On Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at approx., 2:00 PM Taylorsville Police Department, Kentucky State Police and Spencer County SO responded to the Spencer Co High School. Law enforcement was advised of rumors of violence. A juvenile reported seeing a written note that stated kids are planning to harm a teacher at Spencer County High School. Kentucky State Police investigation has confirmed that the juvenile reporting the possible threat of violence made up the story. Kentucky State Police have not located any students planning to commit the alleged acts of violence at the school. Criminal charges are pending against the juvenile for Falsely Reporting an Incident, class A misdemeanor. Investigation on going by Kentucky State Police and associated agencies.
