Fire Investigation in Franklin County, KY

Date of News Release: 01/09/2006

(Frankfort, KY) - At 02:58 Hrs Sunday 01-08-06 a structure fire was reported at 5096 Redding Road in Franklin County. Upon the arrival of the Franklin County Fire Department they found a barn, a mobile home, and a two story residence on fire at the same farm property. The three structures were not in close proximity to one another.

Subsequent investigation has determined that each structure had been intentionally set on fire. Anyone with information concerning these fires is asked to call the Kentucky Arson Hotline at 1-800-27-ARSON (1-800-272-7766). The Kentucky Arson Task Force will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of an arsonist. Callers may remain anonymous.
