Fatal Traffic Crash on US 25 in Rockcastle County

(LONDON, KY) - On Thursday, November 30, 2006, at 0710 AM the Kentucky State Police responded to a single vehicle traffic crash on US 25, 3 miles south of Livingston, in Rockcastle County, KY. Trooper Staci Walker determined that a 2005, Ford, F-250 pick-up truck, driven by Bennis Stinnett, 80, Nicholasville, KY was Southbound on US 25 when the vehicle dropped on the roadway and overturned. The driver was ejected from the vehicle although his seatbelt was fastened (improperly). Stinnett was pronounced dead at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Trooper Walker continues the investigation.
