Burglary Arrest In Laurel County

(LONDON, KY) - On Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at 00:43 AM Kentucky State Police Trooper Don Sivils responded to a suspicous vehicle complaint at Hibbitt's Supply on South Stewart Road, North Corbin, in Laurel County, Ky. When Tpr. Sivils arrived he observed two (2) male subjects inside a fenced area at the rear of the store at which time they fled from the scene on foot. Tpr. Sivils' investigation revealed that someone had broken into the building and had removed various items from the store. Tpr. Sivils continued his investigation which led to the arrests of Timmy Knuckles Jr., 21, of Gray, KY and Robby Mills, 21, of Gray, KY. Knuckles was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd. Mills was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Theft By Unlawful Taking over $300, and Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree. Both individuals have been lodged at the Laurel County Detention Center. Tpr. Sivils was assisted at the initial call by officers of the Kentucky State Police, Harlan Post, the Laurel County Sheriff's Office, the Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement, the Corbin Police Department and Laurel County Constable Denver Mays. Tpr. Sivils continues his investigation.
