Fatal Crash in Whitley County, KY

(London, KY) - On Wednesday January 3, 2006 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Kentucky State Police at London was notified of a single vehicle accident on KY 26 approximately 3 miles south of Corbin, KY.

Kentucky State Police Troopers Mike Witt and, Jason Vanhook was dispatched to the scene. Upon their arrival they discovered a 1989 4- door Oldsmobile that was operated by Edna Moses- 92 West Wiiliamsburg, KY age- 75. Apparently Mrs. Moses had left the roadway and, struck a culvert. Mrs. Moses was transported to Baptist Regional Medical Center and, then on to the University of Tennessee. Mrs. Moses was pronounced dead at the University of Tennessee Hospital on 01-04-2006.
