Robbery in Pulaski County

(London, KY) - On Wednesday January 4, 2006 at approximately 1147 p.m. Kentucky State Police at London was notified of a robbery on boat dock road in Somerset, KY. A elderly female was alone in her residence when a male subject forced his way into the residence by kicking the front door in. The male subject forced the female to the back bedroom of the home where she was detained. The male subject then took cash and jewelry from the home and, fled on foot.

Identity of the male subject is not known at this time. He is described as a tall white male with a thin build. Subject was wearing blue jeans and a leather jacket.

The investigation is continuing by Detective Doug Boyd and, the major crimes task force. Detective Boyd was also assisted by Kentucky State Police Detective Billy Correll.
