Update In Paul Browning Murder Case

(HARLAN, KY) - Johnny R. Epperson, age 49 of Dayhoit, KY. pled guilty to several charges in Bell Circuit Court in connection with the murder of Paul Browning Jr. Epperson pled guilty to Facilitation to Murder, a class "D" felony that carries up to five years in prison, Arson 3rd degree a class "D" felony, two counts of Tampering with Physical Evidence which is a class "D" felony for each count. The total prison time is 20 years that will start after Epperson finishes his time that he is currently serving in Federal Prison in Ashland, KY. Also under the conditions of his plea agreement, Epperson is to make himself available for testimony in court for further criminal proceedings for others charged in this case. This case is still under investigation by Detective Mike Cornett Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan.
