Murder Investigation and Arrest

(Pikeville, KY) - As a result of an on going investigation, Sheila Dotson was arrested and charged with complicity to commit murder and intimidating a witness (3 counts) in connection with the shooting of her husband, Donald Dotson on July 20, 2004 at Auxier, KY. Sheila Dotson is lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center where she awaits arraignment on March 28, 2005 at 9:00 am.

Michael Lester was previously charged with the shooting of Donald Dotson on July 21, 2004. Michael Lester is the brother of Sheila Dotson and he is currently lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center where he awaits his trial date of April 25, 2005.

The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Mickey Watson.
