A Calabose Man Arrested on Several Charges

At approximately 6:00AM Tuesday March 8th Detective Kelly Bowman and Trooper Mike Wolfe of the Kentucky State Police at Morehead and Sergeant Bobby Motley of the KY State Police Vehicle Investigations assisted agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, & Firearms, and agents of the Federal Forest Service in arresting Kenneth Ray Branham, 34 at his residence on KY 746 in the Calaboose area near Campton in Wolfe County on a federal drug warrant.
As a result of the arrest the following was seized: an undisclosed amount of cash, an apparent large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, several firearms, to include fully automatic assault type rifles, at least 1 stolen semi-automatic rifle, and a variety of over rifles and handguns.
Branham was lodged in Lexington charged with allegedly committing the above listed offences.
This incident remains under investigation with the possibility of additional charges being filed.
