Arrest Made in the Mid-South Electronics Plant Fire

(Richmond, KY) - A Jackson County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Leroy Hubbard, age 32 of Manchester, KY, charging him with Arson 1st Degree and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. Mr. Hubbard is accused of setting the January 15th fire at the Mid-South Electronics plant in Annville, KY, which destroyed a large portion of the plant. Mr. Hubbard is currently employed by Mid-South Electronics. The damage to the plant and lost revenue is estimated in excess of $50 million dollars. Leroy Hubbard was arrested without incident at Mid-South Electronics. The indictment and arrest occurred after a joint investigation conducted by the Kentucky State Police, ATF, and the State Fire Marshall's Office. Mr. Hubbard is currently lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
