Steven Phelps Arrested For Murder of Infant
Date of News Release: 11/22/2005
(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - Kentucky State Police is currently working a death investigation of a 2 ½ month old infant. The infant was transported to Greenview E.R. Sunday morning from Allen County and was then transported by helicopter to Vanderbilt's Children Hospital. The infant passed away on 05/24/2005 at Vanderbilt. The investigation is ongoing and no further details are being released at this time.
**Update**
on 11/22/05, 34 year old Steven Phelps was arrested for the murder. No further details are being released at this time. Phelps was lodged in the Allen County Detention Center.
