KSP & KVE Are Attempting to Locate Suspect

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - Kentucky State Police are on the scene at the 4.5mm NB on I-65 to assist Kentucky Motor Vehicle Enforcement in an attempt to locate a suspect that fled from them on foot in the area. The suspect allegedly kidnapped his wife from Texas. The female is now safe and is with officers. The suspect was last seen in the area of the 4.5 mm on foot running into the woods. The suspect should be considered dangerous. Do not approach this subject. Tennessee Highway Patrol has a Helicopter in the area to assist in the search. Kentucky State Police & Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement urge you to report any suspicious persons matching the suspects description to The Kentucky State Police at 800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state). Last seen wearing Dark Pants and no shirt. Destination is unknown at this time.

Tracking dogs are in the area with local authorities to assist in the search.
