Marijuana Located in Warren County, KY

(Warren County, KY) - On 09/13/2005 during a post-level marijuana eradication detail, units received an anonymous tip from the Warren County Drug Task Force regarding the possible cultivation and growth of marijuana plants at a residence on Riverside-Benleo Road.
Upon arrival, troopers discovered in plain view two large marijuana plants growing in the backyard of the residence. Contact was then made with the owner, David L. Bollinger, the homeowner was detained and a search warrant was obtained.
Pursuant to the execution of the search warrant, an indoor marijuana growing operation was discovered in the homeowner's bedroom. A total of 32 mature marijuana plants were seized from the residence in addition to related drug paraphernalia.
Processed marijuana and a firearm were also removed from the residence.
David L. Bollinger was charged with Cultivating Marijuana over 5 plants, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2ndē, and Possession of Marijuana less than 8 ounces.
