KSP Pursuit and Drug Arrest in Warren County, KY

(Bowling Green, KY) - At 0350 hrs a complaint was received indicating two subjects were in the process of stealing anhydrous from tanks at Richpond Crop Service, located at the intersection of KY 242 & KY 884.
While responding unit was enroute caller advised the suspects left the area in a red passenger car. Unit met the vehicle as he was approaching the scene. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver fled. Pursuit continued westbound on KY 242 turning northbound onto US 31W before entering the southbound William Natcher Parkway. Pursuit continued southbound on the William Natcher Parkway and onto southbound I-65. The vehicle exited at Franklin proceeding east on KY 100 where the driver wrecked less that a mile from the interchange.
The driver and passenger were treated at the scene for minor injuries and were transported to the Warren County Jail. They were lodged on charges of Knowingly Possessing Anhydrous Ammonia in Unapproved Container, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st, Speeding, Reckless Driving, Disregard of a Traffic Control Device, Failure to Signal.
