4th of July Safety Checkpoints for Post 3

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - The Kentucky State Police will be conducting Traffic Safety Checkpoints throughout the entire Post 3 District for this July 4th holiday season. Troopers will be checking for traffic and equipment violations, as well as drivers under the influence of intoxicants. The following areas listed below will be utilized by the Kentucky State Police. Troopers will also be citing motorist on limited access highways such as I-65 and the Louie B. Nunn, William H. Natcher Parkways, for failing to move over to the far left lane, when emergency vehicles have pulled to the emergency lane with another vehicle.
