Escapees from the Warren County Jail

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - On 06-12-2005 at approximately 2130 hours two inmates (Michael Leonard Willis and Finis Blanton) escaped from the Warren County Regional Jail's Class D Facility. The escapees climbed a chain linked fence in the recreation/smoking area of the facility and fled on foot in an unknown direction. Willis was discovered missing by Jail Deputies approximately two hours after the actual time of escape, during a routine head count. Blanton was discovered missing at 0645 hours this date, after a second head count. Inmates provided information as to the actual time of the escapes.
