(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) - On 05-19-2005 the Bowling Green Police Department received information that a murder suspect from Smyrna, TN was possibly working at a construction site near Scottsville Road in Bowling Green. When Bowling Green Officers arrived at the construction site, a subject fled from the area. Bowling Green Police put out a B.O.L.O. for all area Police Agencies. Troopers from the Bowling Green State Police Post converged on the area. Trooper John Holbrook observed a subject on foot at the I-65 Northbound entrance ramp, at exit 22. At 1239 hours, Trooper Holbrook ordered the subject to stop, and at that time the subject brandished a handgun and pointed it at Trooper Holbrook while advancing in the Trooper's direction.
