Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest in Warren County, KY

(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) - Tpr. T. Adams was working Drug Interdiction on the William Natcher Parkway when he stopped a 1984 Lincoln Continental for speeding. During the stop, Tpr. Adams noticed that the driver was displaying signs of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. Subject was arrested for DUI. During a post arrest search, KSP Units discovered 1 gram of methamphetamine, 12 oxycontin tablets, 61 xanex tablets, 30 loracet tablets, 4 methadone tablets, and 29 pills identified as a legend drug. Units also seized $979.00 in currency. Subject was lodged in the Warren Co. Detention Center.
