KSP Pursuit, One Person Arrested

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - Jackie L. Cummins was observed Westbound on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway in Adair County driving erratically. Post 15 units attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the suspect who accelerated and attempted to elude the pursuing officers. The pursuit continued Westbound into the Post 3, Bowling Green area where tire deflation devices were successfully deployed at I-65 & Nunn Parkway interchange. Jackie L. Cummins (suspect) continued Southbound on I-65 with flattened tires to the area of mile marker #26 where a rolling road block was initiated which resulted in the suspect's vehicle being stopped followed by a minor injury accident. Suspect was transported to the Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the accident. Tpr. Chris Spradlin was taken to the Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries also sustained in the accident.

Jackie L. Cummins was arrestted and charged with Assualt 2nd, 4 Counts Wanton Endargerment, Fleeing & Evading 1st Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st (Methamphetamine), DUI 1st & Resisting Arrest. Jackie L. Cummins is lodged at the Warren County Jail.
