Drug Arrest in Muhlenberg County, KY

(Muhlenberg County, KY) - Sgt. Duane Snyder was on routine patrol when he drove around the old Greenville log and lumber building off of Ky 171 and detected a strong odor that is commonly associated with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Sgt. Snyder noticed some subjects exiting the dwelling and detained them for further investigation. During the investigation approximately two grams of methamphetamine was located in the garage and Mr. Evans was arrested.

There were some items that are commonly use to manufacture methamphetamine located at the residence however there was not enough to charge Evans with manufacturing. Evans was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.

Mr. Evans was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st, 2nd offense.
