Post 2 Trooper Honored at Awards Ceremony

Madisonville, KY.- On Tuesday, December 6, 2005 the Governor's Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards ceremony was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Lexington. Law enforcement officers, agencies and individuals from across the state were recognized for their outstanding achievements.

Tpr. Daniel Morck from the Madisonville Post 2 was recognized at this ceremony for his outstanding job performance. For the DUI enforcement period, which ran from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005, Tpr. Morck arrested 141 impaired drivers. Tpr. Morck was second in DUI arrests statewide.

Tpr. Morck began his career with the Kentucky State Police in 2002. Upon graduating from the Kentucky State Police Academy, he was assigned to Christian County. Tpr. Morck is currently assigned to Hopkins County.
