Fred W. Roulette Transported to Hopkins County Detention Center

An image of Fred RouletteMadisonville, KY (Hopkins County) - On Thursday, November 3, 2005 at approximately 5:22 p.m., Fred W. Roulette age 25 of Hammond, IN arrived at the Hopkins County Detention Center. The Hopkins County Sheriff's Department transported Roulette from the Lake County (Indiana) Jail where he had been held since October 14. Kentucky State Police Detective Jason Newby has charged Roulette with murder (a class A felony) and tampering with physical evidence (a class D felony).

Mr. Roulette is currently being held without bond at the Hopkins County Detention Center waiting his court date.

On Tuesday, August 23, 2005 the Kentucky State Police responded to a call in Dawson Springs reference a death investigation. The victim, Billie M. Cochrane age 72 of Dawson Springs, had been stabbed multiple times and died as a result of her wounds.
