Jeffrey K. Dehaven Transported to Jail and Charged with Murder

Webster County - On October 26, 2005 at approximately 11:05 a.m., Jeffery K. Dehaven was released from the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville and transported to the Webster County Jail.
On Monday, October 17, 2005 the Kentucky State Police responded to a shooting located at 2231 KY 1835 approximately 3 to 4 miles north of Slaughters. Upon arriving, officers discovered Michael L. Dove age 38 of Edinburg, VA deceased. An autopsy revealed that Mr. Dove died as a result of a single gunshot. Jeffery Dehaven was located at the shooting scene suffering from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Mr. Dehaven was transported to the Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Jeffery Dehaven age 42 of Slaughters, KY has been charged with murder and is currently lodged in the Webster County Jail. His bond is set at $500,000 cash.
