State Transportation Cabinet Road Worker Injured

(Todd County) - On 10/19/2005 a State Transportation Cabinet Road worker was injured. The crew was resurfacing a portion of KY 115 approximately 1/2 mile south of Pembroke. Traffic was diverted into one lane when Jimmy Williams attempted to pass one of the road crew striking the worker and knocking him into fresh laid, unrolled asphalt. The collision resulted in severe burns to the workers arms and hands. The Adam Fuller was later transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center.

The accident is still under investigation
