Barricaded Subject in Dawson Springs, KY

Dawson Springs, KY (Hopkins County) - On August 30th, 2005 at approximately 1827 hrs, the Kentucky State Police received a call from the Dawson Springs Police Department reference to a female subject threatening to kill herself. The female had barricaded herself and a male subject in a trailer at 321 E Hall St. in Dawson Springs.

The Kentucky State Police arrived at the scene at approximately 1844 hrs and began negotiations with the female.

At approximately 1937 hrs, the male subject was talked out of the residence. The Kentucky State Police then made entry into the residence and the female was placed in custody without further incident.

The Dawson Springs Police Department arrested both the male and female subject for prior violations.
