KSP Post 2 Investigates A Drowning in Muhlenberg County

Date of News Release: 07/24/2005

(Muhlenberg County, KY) - Kentucky State Police Post 2, Madisonville is investigating a drowning that occurred at the Lake Malone State Park.

A subject was swimming at the beach outside of the designated swimming area and was unable to make it to shore. Muhlenberg County Coroner Tony Armor pronounced the subject dead at the scene.

No foul play is suspected at this time. The investigation is continuing.
