James A. Lane Arrested And Charged With Murder

Hopkinsville, KY (Christian County) - On Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at approximately 8:32 a.m., James Anthony Lane turned himself in to the Christian County Commonwealth Attorney, Rick Boling. Mr. Lane was subsequently arrested and charged with murder. He was lodged in the Christian County Jail with bond set at one million dollars, cash. On Monday, March 21, 2005 at approximately 11:36 a.m., units from the Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville responded to a complaint on Caskey Lane. Upon arriving, units discovered Jeremy D. Latham lying partially in the road. He was deceased.

The other person being sought, Constance Shenelle Johnson is still at large.
