Drug Arrest in Hopkinsville, KY

Hopkinsville, KY (Christian County) - On February 10, 2005 at approximately 5:55 p.m., officers from the Kentucky State Police, the Christian County Sheriff's Department and the Hopkinsville Police Department executed a search warrant at a room at the Motor Host Inn on Fort Campbell Blvd. in Hopkinsville. Through the course of their investigation, Kentucky State Police Officers were able to obtain information that led to the search warrant.
Officers recovered several components used in the manufacturing process. In the room, officers located crushed pills, lithium batteries and other components used to manufacture methamphetamine. Officers located a tank of anhydrous ammonia in the bathroom. Officers recovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the hotel room. Also located were a pistol and a shotgun.
Five people were arrested as a result of the search warrant. Tony L. Clemmons age 26, Angelia M. Clemmons age 22, William P. Clemmons age 23, Joshua Arnett age 20 and James E. Watts age 26 were all charged with several drug offenses and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
