Burglary Investigation in Beechmont, KY

Beechmont, KY (Muhlenberg County) - The Kentucky State Police are currently investigating a burglary that occurred at the construction site of the new elementary school just north of Beechmont.

Between the evening hours of January 11, 2005 and the early morning hours of January 12, 2005 an unknown number of suspects broke into several trailers that housed tools at the construction site of the new elementary school. The suspect(s) stole several types of tools such as handsaws, power threaders, 8-foot ladders, copper fittings, hammer drills and spools of wire and steel.

The Kentucky State Police request that anyone with information regarding this burglary contact them at 1-270-676-3313 or toll-free at 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state). Tpr. Jerrod Hearld is continuing the investigation.
