The Kentucky State Police Post One Activity Report for the month of November is as follows:

Post One Mayfield covers the 11 counties of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg. As of November 30, 2005 there have been 53 people killed in fatal collisions in the Post One area. Of those who died, 24 were not wearing their seat belt and 12 involved alcohol. During the same time period in 2004, there were 51 people killed in the Post One area. Statewide in 2005, there have been 888 people killed compared to 892 in 2004. During the Thanksgiving Holiday period, troopers cited 382 drivers for speeding, 49 for not wearing a seat belt and 7 for not using a child restraint. Trooper's also arrested 11 drivers for DUI. There were no fatal collision's recorded in the Post One area during the holiday period.
