Bomb Threat at Hickman County School

(Clinton KY) On Friday August 19,2005 Kentucky State Police received a call from the Hickman County School System requesting assistance in the evacuation of the High School. A note, indicating a bomb threat, was turned in to school officials, who immediately began evacuation protocols. With the assistance of Clinton Police Department , Kentucky State Police K-9 unit and troopers from KSP Post 1 Mayfield, the high school was searched with no explosive devices being found. Today, August 22, 2005 Kentucky State Police Detective George Bell charged two female juveniles with terroristic threatening in connection with the bomb threat. The juveniles were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Juvenile Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing with the Kentucky State Police.
