Graves County Man Arrested

(MAYFIELD, KY.) A joint investigation between the Graves County Sheriff's Department and Kentucky State Police has led to the arrest of a Graves County man. On 8-4-05 Sgt. Kelly Drew (GCSO) and Detective George Bell (KSP) arrested Raymond G. Kreps, 39 of Dukedom, KY. Sgt. Drew charged Kreps with 2 counts of Rape 2nd Degree and 2 counts of Rape 3rd Degree in Graves County. Detective Bell charged Kreps with 2 counts of Rape 3rd Degree and Sodomy 3rd Degree in Livingston County. The investigation began when the Graves County Sheriff's Department and the Kentucky Cabinet for Families and Children received a complaint that Kreps was having inappropriate relations with a female under the age of 14 years-of-age. Detective Bell was requested to assist in the investigation when authorities learned the victim was also abused in Livingston County. Kreps was lodged in the Graves County Jail. The investigation is continuing.
