Capture of Escaped Inmate in Richmond, KY

(Mayfield, KY) - The Richmond Police Department in Madison County Kentucky arrested Vernon L. Parker Jr on July 16, 2005. Mr. Parker escaped from the Western Kentucky Correctional Facility on July 9, 2005 and was returned on July 17, 2005. Upon his return, Mr. Parker was charged with Escape 2nd by TPR Richard Wright, Kentucky State Police. Jay Mersfelder still remains at large.
