The Kentucky State Police Post One Activity Report for the month of April is as follows:

Post One Mayfield covers the 11 counties of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg. As of April 30, 2005 there have been 14 people killed in fatal collisions in the Post One area. Of those who died, 8 were not wearing their seat belt and 4 involved alcohol. During the same time period in 2004, there were 18 people killed fatal collisions in Post One. Statewide in 2005, there have been 266 people killed compared to 254 in 2004.
