Another Arrest Made in the Daniel Emmons Murder

(SMITHLAND, KY.) On 3-2-05 Kentucky State Police Detective Steve Bryan presented the Daniel Emmons murder case to the Livingston County Grand Jury. The Grand Jury returned indictments on Roger Reed, the father of the 3 month-old infant for Murder and for Violation of a Domestic Violence Order. The Grand Jury also returned indictments for Murder and Violation of a Domestic Violence Order on the infants mother, Sarah Emmons 26 of Carrsville. The infant was brought into the Livingston County Hospital dead on February 17, 2005. The Medical Examiners Office ruled the infant died of multiple inflicted blunt force trauma. Detective Bryan arrested Emmons at 1:15 PM. She is being held in the Calloway County Jail on $300,000 bond.

The investigation is continuing by Detective Bryan.
