Drug Arrest in Calloway County, KY

(Mayfield, Ky) - In a joint investigation with Murray Police Department and Calloway County Sheriffs Department the Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant on January 17, 2005 at approximately 0930 hrs resulting in the arrest of James A Darden, 54 year old male of Paris TN.

After executing the search warrant a non-active METHAMPHETAMINE lab was located. Mr Darden was subsequently charged with manufacturing METHAMPHETAMINE, Receiving stolen property over $300, driving with no insurance, driving on Expired tags, and failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle. Officers seized 10 guns and one vehicle from the business.

The investigation is continuing with Detective Michael Williams, Kentucky State Police Post 1 Mayfield.
