A Henderson Man Charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance & Cultivating Marijuana

(Henderson, KY) - An image of Michael MabryThe Kentucky State Police along with Drug Enforcement Special Investigation, Henderson County Sheriff's Department conduct a search of a residence located at 4464 US 41A just south of Henderson.

The search revealed an indoor Hydroponics' growing operation at the Michael Mabry residence. A total of 57 small marijuana plants were being cultivated in the basement of the home. The system being used in the operation is the second of its kind found this year. This system was used to cycle the marijuana on a controlled schedule, which allows the marijuana to be grown with in a 90-day growing period. There were a number of drug paraphernalia items and materials used to cultivate the marijuana.

Mr. Mabry was charged with Trafficking in a controlled substance and Cultivating Marijuana.
