Local Law Enforcement Make Arrest

(Henderson, KY.) - The Kentucky State Police, Daviess County Sheriff's Department, Drug Enforcement Special Investigation and KSP Post 16 officer make an arrest of 46 year old Philpot residence, John V. Lanham. Mr. Lanham was tending his marijuana plot when officers arrested him inside the patch. A total of 17 marijuana plants were recovered with a street value of $38,000 dollars. Seized along with the marijuana plants was a 1994 Ford pickup truck. The plot was located on Mr. Lanhams property located at 7551 KY 144 one-mile east of Ensor in Daviess County.

Mr. Lanham was lodged in the Daviess County Jail and charged with Cultivating Marijuana over Five Plants, which is a class D felony, punishable up to five years.
