Criminal Arrest in Daviess County. KY

(Henderson, KY.) - Trooper Zachary Jones responded to a complaint of a reckless driving in Colony Mobile Home Park in Daviess county. The truck that was identified was at a residence in the area. Trooper Jones knocked on the door at which time Trooper Jones could clearly see the subject & could see the resident chamber a round in an AR-15 & heard the gun cycling. Trooper Jones retreated & called for backup. Upon the arrival of additional KSP units, the units approached the residence again, asked for & received consent to enter.

The resident (Michael Davis) was placed under arrest for Wanton Endangerment against a police officer. In the search subsequent to the arrest 14 handguns, 5 rifles including 2 assault rifles, 2 shotguns & $1900.00 in banded bills were found and confiscated. Two of the recovered firearms had previously been reported stolen.
