KSP Investigates Theft Case

(Henderson, KY) - On 4-27-2005, the Kentucky State Police received complaints of thefts at two residences. The first occurred in Fordsville and the other near Beech Grove in McLean County.
The complaint occurred at a residence of an elderly couple, when one of the two subjects entered a home wanting to provide home maintenance and to winterize their home. The suspect in this case were white male's in their early forty's, short hair wearing a tan jacket and white pants. The vehicle described was a late model black passenger car. The subject measured in around the home and removed pain medication, which was prescribed to the homeowner.
The second complaint occurred in Mclean County near Beech Grove at a residence. The information on the suspect and vehicle were the same as the complaint that occurred in Ohio County. The subject advised that he was there to inspect the home. The subject began to measure inside the home, while inside the subject removed cash from a dresser draw. The money was inside a bank zipper bag. A total of 240.00 was taken from the residence, two hundred in cash and the rest in lose change.
