Criminal Arrest in Henderson County, KY

Date of News Release: 04/03/2005

(Henderson, KY) - James Mitchell III, was operating a 1994 Buick and was travelling easrtbound on US 60E. Trooper Gramig observed Mr. Mitchell turning off of US 60E onto KY 811 without using a turn signal. Trooper Gramig followed Mr. Mitchell, attempting to stop him with his lights and siren operational, and observed him drive off the right shoulder of the road, over correct and begin driving in the oncoming traffic lane. Mr. Mitchell sped up to a high rate of speed for approximately 2 miles at which time Mr. Mitchell turned into a field and got his vehicle stuck. At that time, Mr. Mitchell was placed under arrest for Driving DUI Suspended 1st, DUI 3rd, Fleeing & Evading, No Seatbelt, Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapon, Reckless Driving, Failure to Appear in Daviess County x 3. He is currently lodged in the Henderson County Jail
